Fargo and The Big Lebowski

This two movies in my oponion are verry different and alike at the same time. Frist in Fargo deals with one case that leads to another. Also William macy's character tries to cover his little scheme up with lies, and it ends up gettin worse as the story keeps progressing. The Big Lebowski is similar to that because as soon as "the dude's" rug gets peed on it lead him to a whole nother story line that he even gets thrown out of place. all he wants is to get his rug and thats it, btu he gets all mixed up into another deal, that just keeps gettin worse. Both of the movies are great but if you really look into it you can see the similarities.

Mr. Deeds is like Hudsucker Proxy

Hudsuckey Proxy and Mr. Deed are two similar movies. In Mr. Deeds you have a good hearted small town guy (Longfellow Deeds) that inherits $40 billion, similar to Norville in Hudsucker Proxy. Then there is Babe, the news tabloid reporter that poses as a small town girl who exposes Longfellow who falls in love with him, like Amy in Hudsucker Proxy. Eventhough there is alot of money involved it never changes the small town guys' personality and a big city gal can change when met with these guys.

The Break-Up

The Break-Up is a romantic comedy flick with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. Some things that are alike from any other romantic movie is that they meet (cute-meet). It follows most of the same guide lines along the way. Some of the differences are they don't live happily ever after. he tries to get his act together but in the end it's her that wants to "see the world." Overall i think it's a good movie, i mean happy endings does not mean that they have to end up together as lovers, but as friends.The thing is that many people can actually relate to this type of movies and that's why i think this movie differs from other romantic comedy movies.

Gael Garcia Bernal was born Nov. 30 1978. Started acting alongside his parents. At age 14 he started in the soap opera " El Abuelo y Yo." He studied acting in The Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

His first major film was "Amores Perros" followed by "Y Tu Mama Tambien."

Through out his career, I've noticed that he does a lot of dramatic and controversial movies.

He tries to get away out of himself as much as possible by portraying such controversial people.

And does it so well i might add.

Playing characters such as a priest in "El Crimen Del Padre Amaro" a transvestite in "La Mala Educacion," and who can forget him playing Ernesto "Che" Guevarra on both the TV show "Fidel" and the motion picture "The Motorcycle Diaries." So whenever i see a Gael Garcia Bernal flick i think of him bringing a good story to the screen the best way he only can, by bringing such debatable characters to live.
